This is a must read if you plan on using an amplifier or other device alongside the antenna!

Good morning to all from the East coast! If you are using an amplifier, repeater, an adapter from a different manufacturer or even an antenna from a different manufacturer with one of our antennas/adapters this is very important.

There are five different types of connections that can be used on all these devices they are:

-SMA (Male and Female)
-N (Male and Female)
-TNC (Male and Female)
-MCX (Male only)
-FME (Male and Female)

There are others but these are the most common. All of our equipment uses the FME type connector. For example if you are using an amplifier from Cyfre, Wilson or another manufacturer you will need to find out which of these connections they are using.

Once you find out the connection type we'll be able to get you a little barrel adapter that goes from the connection we use, FME, to (x) connection they use on their device.

By the way, ignore the string of random numbers at the top, it was required by another social networking site in order for us to be able to tie our blog into their site.
